Our Story

In 2021, a small group of passionate educators and advocates came together with a shared belief: Every child deserves access to evidence-aligned reading instruction and the opportunity to become a confident reader. What began as a vision has grown into a thriving community committed to advancing literacy across Colorado.

Since then, we've welcomed hundreds of educators into our community, hosted statewide learning events, expanded professional development opportunities, built meaningful partnerships, and continued advocating for practices that help ensure every child is seen, identified, and supported.

Like a five-year-old stepping into kindergarten, our five year anniversary marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter. We have learned, grown, and built a strong foundation—and we're just getting started.

Throughout the coming months, we'll be reflecting on the people, partnerships, and moments that have shaped our first five years while looking ahead to the impact we can make together in the years to come.
